DO you ever feel as if pentecostalism follows you? Sometimes I find myself feeling hatred towards my family for feeds me such garbage and leaving me to struggle with legalism even now at 26 years old. God loves me and I love His grace but there are days where I have a hard time accepting grace for myself because I have been told what a wretch I am. DO you go through this?? How did you come to forgive your family?

How sad Christ must be when we've buried our wounded. As they've struggled with something we condemned them for their shortcomings and told them that they were not walking in God's ways. Having been brought up in the UPC, grandfathers were ministers, I was one of the more guilty of being judgamental. By God's grace I have overcome that judgamental spirit and learned that His grace is sufficient. No works are going to earn Heaven for anyone.

If the Pentecostal church you were in stated that salvation comes by works, as I understood from reading your article, then that was not a real Pentecostal church. I go to a [true] Pentecostal church that preaches salvation by grace through faith alone and where real miracles happen (I am a witness)! Just wondering ... what do you currently believe concerning salvation, Jesus, and miracles?

P.S. I'm not trying to argue here - just sharing.
